 NEW BOOK

For years people have been telling me that when they are struggling, or confused, irritated or tempted they say to themselves “What would Linda say?”

Some people would say…”who cares” but I really have to laugh when a wife (or husband/partner) comes to me reporting that they had gotten into an argument and though they were never big on counseling they say “what would Linda say to you right now”  and another one was told  “you need to set up an appointment with Linda.”

Last week I had a lady say she would like my face attached to her computer that when she gets upset with someone she is dealing with at work (or at home with her husband) my voice would ring out and say “just shut your mouth- this too shall pass” which we laughed about.

Another lady suggested I create a Bobblehead or an Alexa type squeeze doll that she could ask questions of that would answer her in my voice telling her things like “expectations are pre-meditated resentments” or “all things will work together for the good, just hang in there.”

We used to have a Yoda Doll that you could push his little hand and ask a question and it would answer with some random, seemingly relevant words of wisdom and now with AI generated stuff I really could create something that would give them my real answer in my voice.  Hmmm. there’s some money waiting to happen….I digress!

But, moving on, I will tell you that over the years I have tried to leave my legacy of HOPE in a variety of ways including hundreds of YouTube videos, blogs and books and this year I decided to put all my “What Would Linda Say” words of wisdom in a book along with my secret (that really isn’t a secret) that will help people “be transformed by the renewing of their minds” like it says in Romans 12:2.

What people don’t realize is that ALL of my words of wisdom are based in not only scientific evidence but more importantly, a very good book from my favorite author and I recommend everyone get a copy today! It’s called the Bible.

So here is the quick overview of what my new book is going to be about. Title and Cover is still in process but I’d love to hear if it is something you would be interested reading and would like to stay up to date on when it is released. (Feel free to offer suggestions and share ideas ASAP as I finish the writing, editing, and production of it.)

SYNOPSIS OF MY NEW BOOK

Let’s be honest—if sheer willpower worked, we’d all be flawless, fabulous, and fitting into those jeans from 1997, the house would always be clean, business would be booming, and we would reach all our goals every day.

But the truth is, Mind-Body-Spirit transformation doesn’t come from sheer willpower —it comes from reprogramming your brain by practicing the 3 G’s: Gratitude- Understanding what God made you Good at and setting and achieving Goals.

It’s a no-nonsense, grace-filled, occasionally messy, and often hilarious (if you choose to laugh at yourself) path to real change.

If you’ve been stuck in the same loop—starting fresh every Monday and falling apart by Wednesday (with snacks and a cocktail)- it’s not because you’re lazy, crazy or broken. It’s because you’re using the wrong system.

If you haven’t yet been able to tap into the power of spirit-filled habits by seeing yourself through God’s eyes and His plan for you, this book is your HOPE for a new life of peace and joy.

This book isn’t a rigid self-help shaming boot camp. It’s more like a pep talk from your fun, slightly sarcastic online counselor, speaker, life coach, cheerleader who loves Jesus and also thinks you’re amazing—even if you have totally different beliefs, fall on your proverbial face regularly, and come to our Zoom coaching calls in your jammies without combing your hair…. It’s all good. God loves you and so do I. No judgment.

If you stick with me, you’ll learn how to:

  • Squeeze in spiritual growth without waking up at 4 a.m.
  • Turn your gifts into goals instead of guilt trips
  • Laugh at your mess while still cleaning it up
  • Course-correct without driving in the muddy rut for miles on end

  • And, actually enjoy the journey, even if the road is rocky and the construction leads you down an unknown path that takes you way longer than you had hoped.

In short, just remember

Whether you’re rebooting your life, recovering from a detour, or just tired of circling the same emotional airport—the 3 G’s are your permission slip to start over (again and again and again) with grace and hope.
