A CD of 8 original songs written and performed by lifetime friends Linda Larson Schlitz and Linda Larson Thompson were born in a Norweigian farming community near Eau Claire, WI, where they were only 2 of the 3 Linda Larson’s in the one room schoolhouse they went to. (yes just like little house on the prairie!
Linda and Linda took 2 very different paths before they came to a decision to move to Phoenix, Arizona together and being in a music ministry that led to the recording of this CD in 1977. Another rush job publication, the CD was completed in 11 hours of studio time with professional musicians who had never heard the songs until we stepped into the studio.
It is my intention to re-record it, or at least some of the songs, with a bit more modern sound, and (and with fewer sour notes) as well as adding some of the newer songs I have written. This is the only song I have uploaded so far…it’s called Simple Things and is one of the first songs I had ever written.
